The Quinta was acquired and fully renovated, commencing operations in August 2023. It comprises 15,200 m² (approximately 3.75 acres) of land, including a pristine 4,360 m² forest, a seasonal creek and easy access to nature walks and trails directly outside its gates.
A retreat & event space/working farm/modest vineyard, rooted in the slow living/old-fashioned lifestyle, with 2 indoor cats, chickens, ducks, geese and goats.
We uphold a deep dedication to the stewardship of our land, animals and the well-being of our guests. This commitment is evidenced by our use of natural products, the provision of homemade, fresh, locally sourced meals and beverages, the avoidance of single-use plastic and a composting program for all food waste.
is a Brazilian-American mom of two extraordinary human beings, a hippie kid at heart, a lover of nature, all art forms and slow living, a gardener and homemaker with dirt or dough under her nails, and a genuine connector. Fluent in four languages and even more passions, she lived in Rio de Janeiro, Nice, Los Angeles and Miami before finally finding her rhythm in Lourinhã, where she bought and lovingly restored a property that became Quinta Mourada. Having navigated the worlds of big corp, family business, non-profits, media, finance, and the arts, Bianca decided it was time to blend her many passions into something all of her own, in a place she felt at home. Through Quinta Mourada, she's created more than a place to stay — she's built a space to breathe, belong, and be inspired.
